- Strengthen capacity of Wondo
Genet College of Forestry to design and implement educational, research,
and outreach programs in Natural Resource Management; train faculty in use
of appropriate pedagogical methods.
- Develop research skills at EARI's
Forestry Research Center (FRC) through short-term training. Initial workshops
will focus on proposal writing and preparation of scientific papers and
reports.
- Identify opportunities for student
and faculty exchanges and for collaborative research and education among
partners.
- Conduct needs assessment at
WGCF and FRC that will help direct future use of resources in the most efficient
and effective ways.
