Want to Sponsor a US-IALE Conference?
To contact and recruit possible sponsors for the annual US-IALE conferences, and develop and maintain a database of possible sponsors.
Conference costs are skyrocketing and conference registration is becoming prohibitively expensive, especially for students. A possible way to lower the registration fees is to increase revenue for the annual conference by obtaining sponsorship from a wide variety of organizations such as government agencies, companies, and educational institutions that support landscape ecology.

A two-year rotation of US-IALE members while maintaining continuity.
Committee will contact government agencies, educational institutions, private companies, non-governmental organizations, and other entities to determine if they would be interested in sponsoring the annual conference. All interested and non-interested organizations will be entered in a database that will be maintained by this committee. This database will be shared with conference organizers, local hosts, meeting planner, US-IALE President and Treasurer, and others who may be helpful to obtain support. Local hosts can also provide the committee with sponsor contact information. The committee will also write proposals to potential sponsors as needed. The sponsorship committee is responsible for soliciting funding from national and international sponsors, while the local conference organization committee and local hosts are responsible for solicit funding from local sponsors. The efforts of soliciting funding will be assisted by the US-IALE Executive Committee (especially President and Treasurer), meeting planner, other US-IALE members and friends.
A collection of teaching resources has been newly compiled for use by our membership.
The new Sponsorship Committee serves to contact and foster possible sponsors for annual US-IALE conferences.
