Task 1 Opening the Example File

Objective To open the example sheet from within Excel.

Instructions You will use the FileOpen button on the toolbar or the Open command from the File menu.

Go to the FileOpen button on the toolbar , or else go to the Open command under the File menu and click on them with the mouse.

The File Open dialogue box will be displayed as shown below:

Select the file TUT28.XLS from the drive and directory you saved it to and click on <OK>. The example spreadsheet file will load, and should like this:
