The college
is providing floating licenses for Imagine to reduce cost. There
is no special charge to use these shared licenses. However, if you
need a truly "private" copy that doesn't use the network license
managers this can be arranged through the help desk for an annual
fee (currently about $125) but only at contract renewal time in
November.

Instructions: |
On WinNT/Win2000 you must have administrative rights to install
the program.
The default install only puts a small part of Imagine on the local
workstation and the remaining 650Mb are stored on the server.
To install the program, simply run:
"Q:\WIN32\INSTALL\GIS\Imagine.exe".
Follow the instructions provided by the installer.
If you want a local installation of Imagine, run:
"Q:\WIN32\INSTALL\GIS\IMAGINE.EXE localinstall".
This type of install will take longer and ask more questions. Be sure
you are familiar with how to install a program locally before continuing.
Accepting all the defaults should be fine. Contact the helpdesk if
you have any questions. |
