Description:

Maple is an interactive program for symbolic computation. It has numerous built-in services and a programming language that enables you to extend its capabilities. You can use it not only to manipulate and calculate numeric values, but also to operate on a wide variety of mathematical and computational structures.

Disk Space Required:

The default install only puts a small part of Maple on the local workstation and the remaining 35Mb are stored on the server.

Instructions:

You must have administrator rights to install this program on a system running WinNT or Win2000

To install Maple run
Q:\Win32\Install\Data\MAPLE.EXE.
The default installation will run the program from the network. The only thing put on your local computer is an Icon and an extremely small settings file.

If you would prefer a local install run:
Q:\Win32\Install\Data\MAPLE.EXE localinstall.
Follow the instructions and accept the defaults.
