We are very pleased to announce, once again, the finalization of a site license agreement with ESRI, makers of GIS software packages. Now that we have officially signed the contract with ESRI we are eligible for a *one-time* order of FREE software and products. This is to ensure that the campus has a full complement of ESRI software in all its various forms. It will be possible to order additional software and products AFTER this first order, but it will be subject to a very modest transaction fee (see http://www.orst.edu/Dept/geosciences/site_license.html).

We want to place an order for this free software by this

A license manager is included in the software to administer the distribution of licenses to requesting end users, using one login at a time.)

We expect delivery of software from ESRI within 1-2 weeks of placing our order. Software will be delivered to Jim Corbett in Information Services and distributed to the various departments from there.
