The Adaptive COPE Program is administered by the College of Forestry and is housed out of the
Hatfield Marine Science Center in Newport, Oregon. It currently has a total staff of eight with an
annual budget of approximately $500,000. The staff consists of three scientists (silviculturist,
wildlife biologist, and hydrologist), three research assistants, one technician, and an office
coordinator. Adaptive COPE currently has nine research projects ongoing, sponsors
approximately two major workshops a year, and produces a quarterly newsletter.

- In 10/92, Adaptive COPE adopted team management. From 10/92 until 1/95, I was the
Personnel Manager for the Adaptive COPE team.
- From 2/92 until 10/92, I was the Interim Coordinator for the Adaptive COPE team.
