Outreach and Continuing Education

As a part of Oregon’s Land-grant University we are committed to extending knowledge to Oregonians, including nontraditional students and industry. This outreach takes many forms including:

Oregon Wood Innovation Center

The Oregon Wood Innovation Center is dedicated to the delivery of problem-solving information to the primary and value-added wood products manufacturers in Oregon and elsewhere.

All WSE faculty contribute to fulfilling our outreach mission. Many are available for paid consulting, for occasional questions, or to discuss contract research or product opportunities. They also publish their research. Contact the faculty author, search our Publications Database or view selected publications

Visually stimulating and interactive, it encourages children to think about resource issues. Primarily for third and fourth grade classes.
