General Information
Graduate Catalog: The Oregon State University
Bulletin — Graduate Catalog is issued annually. It provides information
on university rules and regulations, tuition and fees, graduate-level courses,
curricula, degree requirements, and a general overview of campus programs and
student activities.
You may view the online Graduate Catalog at: Continuous Enrollment Policy: All graduate students in graduate degree and
certificate programs must register continuously for a minimum of 3 graduate
credits and pay fees, regardless of the student’s location, if they will
be using any University resources (e.g., facilities, equipment, computing,
and library service, or faculty or staff time) until their degree or certificate
is granted or until their status as a credential seeking graduate student is
terminated. This includes students who are taking only the preliminary or final
examination or presenting terminal projects. Graduate students who do not plan
to make use of University resources during the summer session are not required
to register during the summer and do not need to submit an Intent to Resume
Graduate Status form. However, if students do plan to utilize University resources
during the summer session, they must register for the minimum 3 graduate credits.
It is the student’s responsibility to register for the appropriate number
of credits that may be required for any funding eligibility and/or compliance
as outlined by specific agency regulations under which their funding may be
granted. See additional details of the Continuous Enrollment Policy in the
online Graduate Catalog at: Graduate Student Housing: Most graduate students find rental housing in Corvallis through listings in our local newspaper. The Corvallis “Gazette Times” provides one of the best sources for locating available rental properties in the area with their search tool at the following web site: http://gazettetimes.abracat.com/ Graduate students may also choose to live in any of the on-campus residence halls or cooperatives. Qualified graduate students may apply for positions as Head Residents in campus housing facilities. The University maintains apartments and other rental properties for married students.
