Scandinavia Experience:
Natural Resources		 Solutions Forest Business


Societies differ in their approaches to managing natural resources. During this experience you will learn about the approach to natural resources management in Scandinavia. One specific focus is on forest management and the role of forests in energy and climate change policies.

Stora Enso is one of the oldest corporations in
the world. The company has it’s roots in metals mining. Smelters, such as the one pictured
above, are scattered across the Swedish countryside.
