Outline: Introduction (15 points)

Procedure

For this assignment, you will develop a complete sentence outline of your proposal introduction. That is, you will fully describe your researchable question, including necessary background information, hypotheses, goals and objectives, and rationale and significance. This outline will be reviewed by the instructors and other students, and then used as a guide for writing your draft introduction.

Review the assignment on outlines to make sure you understand how to produce a sentence outline before completing this assignment. Make sure that the subheadings that appear in your introduction are included and clearly identified in your outline. Also review Introduction web page, and the elements of a research proposal to make sure you remember all of things you should include in your introduction (see The Research Proposal).

Submit 2 copies of your introduction outline on or before the due date.

If you do not complete the assignment by the due date, a late penalty will be assigned using the penalties listed in the late assignment policy.
