Use of downed wood by small mammals and amphibians
Your paper should examine the functional role that downed wood plays for small mammals and amphibians, as well as the influence of type of downed wood (size, decay class, etc.) on type and amount of use. You are welcome, but not required, to explore some of the implications of these habitat relations on conservation of these groups and/or on forest management. If you prefer, you can restrict your discussion to small mammals, but if you do so, you should make this explicit in the paper and its title.
