For those registered in FOR 521 only. Please conduct a literature review of articles on spatial analysis applications in forestry/natural resources. Please have the articles you are reviewing related to your topic of interest for your class project. Examples include spatial analysis articles relating to forest harvesting/planning, forest inventory, wildlife habitat, ecological modeling/classification, forest fires, or landscape ecology. Please prepare a reference list of five peer reviewed journal articles since 1990. With this list, prepare a short review (250 words max for each article) that critically describes three of the articles. For each article, please identify the author's hypotheses or objectives, key findings, and key contributions. 

Peer reviewed journals that may have articles of interest include the International Journal of GIS, Photogrammetric Engineering and Remote Sensing, Fire Technology, Landscape Ecology, Journal of Forestry, Forest Science, Conservation Biology, Biological Conservation, the ITC Journal, and others.
