Trail Rehabilitation

The entire group worked from one to two days on a project to restore visitor impacts and reduce future impacts at the Broken Top trail.

We narrowed the trail near the trailhead to prevent vehicles from entering and to encourage single file hiking.

We also closed off a portion of the old road that was no longer needed as a trail.

To restore vegetation in areas being worked on, we gathered seed from native plants.

A tired crew at the end of a long, productive day!
