The purpose of this student conduct agreement is to foster a learning environment and to pursue behavior that is acceptable in the professional workplace. This expected conduct can be described as courteous, civil, honest, and professional.
Classroom conduct is the responsibility of the individual. When needed, other class members can, and are expected to, reinforce the expected conduct by voicing their opinions.
The instructor will work to create a class environment to promote openness, civility, common courtesy, and to achieve course objectives.

The University's policies on honesty, ethics, and substance abuse (including alcohol) can be found at: http://www.orst.edu/admin/stucon, and students are expected to follow these, as well.
The consequences of violating items "a" through "g" will be determined by the course instructors.
The consequence for violations of the drug and alcohol rule (item "h") is a failing grade in the class.
Each student is expected to read, understand and sign a copy of this agreement.
