How OSU wireless network users can map network drives

Students and users with laptops that are connected to the OSU wireless network can map drives to their ONID home space and the College of Forestry T: drive. Here's how to do this:

Mapping your ONID home space:

bulletWindows 7: Open Windows Explorer, click on the Computer icon on the left pane, and choose Map network drive.
bulletWindows XP: Open Windows Explorer, go to the Tools menu and choose Map Network Drive.
bulletIn the "Drive" box, choose a drive letter (Z: for example).
bulletIn the "Folder" box, type \\onid-fs\your_ONID_username (\\onid-fs\smithghz, for example).
bulletClick Finish.
bulletAn authentication box will pop up. Type your ONID username and password. Click OK.
bulletYour drive should now be mapped.

Mapping to the Forestry T:\teach\ drive:

bulletWindows 7: Open Windows Explorer, click on the Computer icon on the left pane, and choose Map network drive.
bulletWindows XP: Open Windows Explorer, go to the Tools menu and choose Map Network Drive.
bulletIn the "Drive" box, choose a drive letter (T: for example).
bulletIn the "Folder" box, type \\Arborimus\forshare\teach\Classes\fe102
bulletClick Finish.
bulletAn authentication box will pop up. In the "User name" box, type "ONID\your_ONID_username" (ONID\smithghz, for example). In the "Password" box, type your ONID password. Click OK.
