For each recitation, we will go around the room and ask each person to make a brief summary of a main point from the readings or about the topic--or pose a question, comment, or viewpoint based on the readings or topic. Please come prepared with at least two views to share.

Some recitation sessions will begin with a mini-lecture.

The first week will mainly be a continuation of the introductory lecture, and a chance to ask questions, to help everyone be sure they understand the technical basics and regulation of genetically engineered crops.
