Students entering the College of Forestry to complete a second bachelor's degree will be classed by the University as post-baccalaureates, but are otherwise treated in the College as undergraduates in terms of their degree program, scholarship eligibility, advising, and class standing.
Post-baccalaureate status is also given to those who are taking forestry coursework as a prerequisite for admission to one of the College's graduate programs. This is typically those who have a closely-related degree in a natural resource field, but who need to strengthen their forestry knowledge. Post-baccalaureates in this category should consult with a graduate advisor in the department offering the program they wish to pursue for a list of recommended courses.
