Housed in Peavy Hall on the Oregon State University campus in Corvallis, the Forestry Media Center provides both the College of Forestry and outside clients with access to the personnel and equipment necessary to meet today’s challenges for dissemination of natural resource information in a variety of formats. The FMC has two Media Specialists on staff working with a wide variety of tools and formats to produce media using the latest production technology. We also have student assistants: an office coordinator and ten student attendants responsible for office communication, distribution of media packages, oversight of the audiovisual equipment checkout system, and operation of the Self Learning Center. A Certified Forester© trained in instructional technology, David champions multimedia development, particulary Web-based, DVD-video, and CD-ROM learning materials. He also works with print media, and occasionally teaches introductory courses in dendrology, natural resource education, and computing. |

FMC personnel have many years of combined expertise in instructional design, video production, multimedia, forestry and natural resource management, audiovisual support, media facility design and management, media distribution, and project management.
