The College of Forestry at Oregon State University is at the forefront of
international issues in forestry and natural resource management. Many of the
College faculty and students are active in research, outreach, and
education at locations spread across the world. Information and links on this
page provide a look at some of the activities and collaborations with which
the College is involved.
New! Natural Resources Study Abroad Guide
The new
Natural Resources Study Abroad Advising Guide has information to help
students plan ahead for an international dimension to their undergraduate
education, including internship and study abroad opportunities and international
degrees.
College
of Forestry international projects
Students and faculty in the College are involved
in a wide diversity of projects internationally, including studies examining
influences of management practices on biodiversity, the influence
of climate change on forest dynamics, global markets for forest products, biotechnology,
remote sensing, and sustainable development, to name just a few. The links
here provide a glimpse at some of the international projects that are underway,
but is by no means a comprehensive overview.

College of Forestry International Programs Advisory
Committee
The College of Forestry International Programs Advisory Committee is chaired
by Jim Johnson and comprised of representatives from all three departments.
The Committee meets quarterly to provide updates on College of Forestry international
activities and feedback on international opportunities relevant to the College.
