FOR 564, Private
Forests in Society, a new graduate-level course, introduces OSU students to private forestry
issues. The course considers private forests as components of social and
ecological systems and examines current forestry issues from the perspectives
of private forest owners. In addition to classroom instruction, students
learn directly from private woodland owners in the field.
