Fellowship Eligibility Criteria
Alexander, Lu Fellowship Forest Resources student studying forest mensuration or biometrics
Cascade Fire Interface Full-time graduate student studying urban interface forestry; expressed desire to work in field of urban interface forestry following graduation
Ching, John Lind Memorial Fellowship Forestry Graduate Students who have a financial need
Fang, Henry Scholarship Forestry graduate or undergraduate in any department
Forestry Graduate Fellowships Graduate student in any department within Forestry
Gruetter, Walt A. Fellowship Intent of gift to aid research in the College
Hoener, Dorothy D. Memorial Fellowships 2 terms competed at CoF; US citizen; Prof potential; academic achievment; need for graduates in student's area of interest; economic need
Jones, Kenneth & Karen Graduate Fellowship Research into cost-effective harvest methods for Douglas-fir forests which do not involve large-scale clear-cutting
Landa, Eduardo Ruiz Foundation Fellowship 1st consideration to forestry graduates from Medellin, Columbia or its successor in Columbia; then graduates from other Columbian schools, Cuba, Ecuador, Chile, Peru, and Panama. Must show adequate skills in English
McDonald, Mary Fellowships None
Meier, Arnold & Vera Fellowships None
Moltke, Alfred W. Scholarships Graduate student in CoF
Randall, Warren R. Memorial Forestry Fund Discretionary fund benefitting students, faculty and programs in Cof with Dean making decision. The fund has been used twice for scholarships. Selection by Scholarship or Fellowship Committee.
Sabhasri, Sanga Fellowships Graduate student in OSU CoF; must be from Thailand or SE Asia (including Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Burma, or Vietnam; must be making satisfactory progress toward a graduate degree.
Saubert Fellowship None
Schutz Family Fellowship None. May be used as Dean sees fit. Has been used for fellowships each year since 1990. Also pays for Ambassador scholarships and Dean's Awards
Weyerhaeuser Research Fellowship To supplement Graduate Research Assistantships offered to the top-level applicants; designated 'Weyerhaeuser Research Fellow;' preference to doctoral student. Eligible for renewal for a maximum of 5 years (college policy is 3 years)
