Research Interests

Wood transportation, optimal bucking practices, timber harvest scheduling, timber supply, scheduling of silviculture practices, fire hazard reduction, logging mechanics, international forestry.

Current Programs

Developing techniques for transportation planning, tactical forest planning, strategic forest planning, decision support systems for road management, strategic planning on State forests, treatment and utilization of small diameter stems in federal forests.
