This day is for you! Join a network of K-12 teachers and environmental educators from around the nation in workshops, plenary sessions and educational entertainment that demonstrate how they deliver quality environmental education that teach people how to think, not what to think.
Registration
- The special $60 K-12 teacher registration rate for Saturday-only sessions will be honored through October 1, 2009.
- The one-day teacher registration also includes the NAAEE Awards Luncheon, with keynote speaker Charles Jordan. A former director of Portland’s Bureau of Parks and Recreation whose forte was forging partnerships and demonstrating “that we are more than just fun and games,” Jordan also is a nationally known conservationist and the first African American to head The Conservation Fund, a leading environmental nonprofit.

Credit
Portland State University is offering graduate or CEU credit for
those who attend the conference. The Cost for one graduate credit
is $75; cost for 1.5 CEUs (15 contact hours, which would involve
more than one

NAAEE is a network of environmental educators who infuse communities with high-quality teaching methods to show the positive, non-confrontational ways that people can bring about solutions to environmental challenges.
Local host, the Environmental Education Association of Oregon, initiates, leads, participates in, and supports projects and programs that advance the role of environmental education to achieve student success in education.
