Outreach Education is a part of Extended Education, one of the three major functions (Resident Instruction, Research, and Extended Education) of the OSU College of Forestry. Outreach Education is focused on information and technology transfer in the natural resources arena. The primary goal of the Outreach Education Program is to provide high-quality programs necessary to meet educational needs of natural resource scientists and professionals and for enhancing the public's understanding of natural resources.

Outreach education is presented in a variety of formats with short courses, workshops, field tours, institute programs, colloquia, and symposia as common offerings. Events are frequently certified by professional societies and some events are offered for regular course credit.

If you have a need for training in a particular topic please contact us to inquire about availability.
