Joining SAF as a student member
is easy, inexpensive, and comes with great benefits.
Student membership
costs $35 per year, and includes a subscription to
the Journal of Forestry, Forestry Source, and The
Western Forester. Also, as of this year, membership
will include online access to thousands of archived
articles from past issues of the Journal of Forestry.
As a student member, you may also attend local chapter
meetings,
as well
as state, regional, and national conventions. The
cost of student attendance to these events is covered
by club funds, the College of Forestry, grants, benefactors,
or local chapters. Being a student member of SAF
is a great way to connect and network with other
forestry students, faculty members, and forestry
professionals. Once you become
a student member of SAF, it is up to you
to
take
advantage
of these
opportunities.
If you would like to hear about
our meetings and events via e-mail, or to find out
how you can join your professional society, please

College of Forestry Student Chapter Leaders.
