About The Club
Welcome
to the OSU's Forestry Club. The primary function of
this club is that of an informal social group providing
a means for interaction between different majors within
the forestry profession and promoting student interaction
and activities with regard to forestry. The club organizes
and sponsors numerous intercollegiate events such
as a logging sports team, the Foresters' Ball, woodcuts,
charity events, ski trips, and outdoor recreational
activities. The club also works closely with the administration
to assist with College of Forestry events such as
Fernhopper Day and Annual Ring. As a member of the
Association of Western Forestry Clubs (AWFC), the
club participates in the AWFC's annual conclave. The
Forestry Club is rich in tradition and provides many
valuable experiences for its members outside the academic
arena.
