As of 1992 I have returned to Oregon and our family has moved our horse ranch to just outside of Stayton on the Stayton-Scio Road. It's good to be near OSU again! Class of '83 in FE/CE

Hard to believe that 20 years have passed since I departed Peavy Hall. All said and done the lessons learned have served well.

Just moved from a Senior Research Economist position with Battelle in Richland, WA, to Poulsbo to take new position as Community Reinvestment Analyst with Washington Mutual Bank in Seattle. Commuting by ferry is the only way to go.

Finished the PhD in June 1997. Now teaching at the University of Göttingen, Germany.

Have recently relocated to Knoxville TN. Doing some association mgt. consulting. Plan to be really retired in July at least long enough to do some long postponed travel.

I am remarried and still living in Philomath. I went back to school to be an EMT and firefighter after OSU but the draw of staying at home with my boys is too great. So I am still being a mom full time. Still enjoying the woods-got a new Stihl this Spring-life is good

I have been doing forestry work and living here on the west side of the Puget Sound for over a year now after having worked in the Portland area for nearly six years. I would love from any Fernhoppers with whom I was associated in '89-'92.

Have been working out of the field of forestry -- mainly in engineering/surveying -- for almost 15 years now. I miss the westside Oregon woods but the NW corner of Washington is great country too. Wife Linda and I have had a lot of fun sailing our Cal 33 sailboat, but just sold it.

Greetings from The Last Frontier. For the past 1.5 years, I've been serving as superintendent of Wrangell-St. Elias National Park and Preserve, the largest unit in the National Park System. This is my third National Park Service superintendency and my second tour in Alaska. It seems strange to now be thinking about retirement, but with almost 27 years of federal service, there's only six more to go before I can hang-up the Stetson. A return to Oregon and a nice quiet antiquarian bookshop somewhere seems ever more attractive. Hello to the Class of '74, and Go Beavs!
