In 1990, we inaugurated the Dean's Award for Outstanding Achievement. The description of the award and the procedure for nomination and selection of candidates are listed below. ALL College employees are eligible, and ALL College employees may submit nominations. Deadline: January 5, 2009.
Previous Recipients of Dean's AwardThe College of Forestry Outstanding Alumnus Award was established in
2002 to acknowledge College of Forestry alumni who have made outstanding
contributions to the profession and/or programs of the College over the
past one or several years. Any College of Forestry alumni, faculty, staff
or student may
submit nominations (including
self-nominations). Deadline: TBA.
Established in the 1960s, the College of Forestry Honorary Fernhopper Award recognizes individuals who have made a significant contribution to forestry in Oregon, or the College, bu who are not alumni. Nominations are submitted by the College of Forestry Department Heads. Deadline: TBA.
