Hello there, Does the term number of rays per mm2 means the number of rays (uniseriate + fusiform as for example) present in 1 mm x 1 mm area or it would be the number of ray cells in 1 mm x 1 mm area? If it is the number of rays (uniseriate + fusiform as for example) per square millimeter, then what the counting would be for those rays present half or more than half outside the measuring area?
