Hello, I'm trying to find out if there's any data for sieve anatomy dimensions in Eucalypts (E.globulus preferably), ie. length and radius of sieve lumen, typical radius and number of sieve pores in a plate, and how the number/ density of sieve bundles and anatomical dimensions of the cells might change with age or along the stem/ branches. If not (and I think probably not) can data from other hardwoods, such as poplar, be substitued as a ballpark figure? If so should data of a comparable height, or age, with the 2-year old Eucalypts I'm intending to study be used? regards, Sharon
