I'd like to add to Henri's message that the Dendrochronology Forum is really my model of what a useful forum can be.  I've met so many people, seen excellent discussions, and been heartened by seeing the effort that experts put in to help answer questions of newer people or those from adjacent field.  I do strongly urge people to look at Henri's web pages and consider that Forum as well (see Henri's message).
