Dear IAWA: Scanned macrographs of North American Woods are now available on line. These images were scanned from Romeyn B. Houghs 1888 books, each of which contained radial, tangential, and cross-sections of wood. I hope you can enjoy them. I initiated this project for the enrichment reading for my fall class that I have taught for 42 years.
