The Ram's Dell Forest was acquired in 1995 as a gift from Vittz and Elaine Ramsdale. The forest is located in Clackamas County, about 7 miles east of Mollala, and totals 95 acres.

Management Philosophy

To provide a practical example of non-industrial private forest management in western Oregon showcasing state-of-the-art methods and techniques designed to improve the overall stewardship of land throughout the region. The forest will provide a link between the University and the local community and become a forum for discussion, research and education about natural resource management.
