Marchel Land Clearing Project

The Marchel tract recently got a new look when a portion of the tract was cleared of maple and cottonwood. Twenty four van loads of hog fuel (600 tons), 21 van loads of chips (483 tons approx), and 10 loads of maple root wads with 40' butt logs attached (60 tons approx.) were hauled away. Scarification to at least 12 inches deep was completed on 7 acres. Fence construction bids were opened October 5.
