The SNR Graduate Certificate program is designed for all students, especially company, agency, or industry employees who desire more training in integrated and sustainable management of natural resources. Students should have a bachelor's degree in arts, humanities, or science, and preferably have at least two years experience working in a natural resources-related field.

The courses and independent project of the Certificate are organized into three main sections: 1) integration, 2) human dimensions, and 3) ecology and management of sustainable natural resources. The courses are designed to provide the information, skills, and data to complete the independent project, and uses multiple media outlets to effectively disseminate information. The Program is designed so that each student works closely with a faculty mentor and will leave the program with a strategy for implementing a specific project.(See Core Faculty and Mentors).
